Overview

A' Putia - Salumeria Panini e Vini, located in the heart of Palermo on Via Principe di Granatelli, offers a refined yet unpretentious sandwich experience that appeals to both locals and travelers seeking authentic Sicilian flavors. This charming salumeria combines the simplicity of quality ingredients with the richness of traditional Italian craftsmanship, creating an inviting atmosphere surrounded by shelves of carefully curated wines.

The menu centers around artisanal panini, featuring house-made breads and a stellar selection of cheeses, cured meats, and fresh salads. Notable highlights include the Brontë panini, praised repeatedly for its perfect balance of fresh ingredients and texture, and the salami with truffle that delivers an intense, memorable flavor profile. Complementing these sandwiches are carefully paired wines, including a prized Etna orange wine, and classic Sicilian spritz cocktails that enhance the overall dining experience.

The space itself is intimate, with limited seating that encourages a cozy, communal ambiance framed by walls lined with wine bottles. This setting is ideal for those who appreciate a slow, savoring meal rather than a rushed bite. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness add a personal touch that elevates the experience, making guests feel both welcomed and valued.

A' Putia naturally attracts food enthusiasts who are drawn to fresh, regional Italian delicacies served with genuine hospitality. Whether stopping by for a light lunch or indulging in a leisurely afternoon with wine and cannoli, visitors find a place that beautifully merges simplicity with culinary sophistication. This spot is a must-visit for anyone in Palermo seeking a memorable taste of local panini and fine wines in an authentic, intimate setting.

Amazing food!!! Very friendly service! The staff was incredibly nice, and the Bronte Panini was absolutely delicious – made with fresh ingredients and perfectly fresh bread. The coffee was also extremely tasty. Highly recommended!

We found/ chose A'Putia for a lighter/simpler non pasta based lunch. A great selection of simple and delcious salads, charcuterie and cheese . Great bread, cold water and very very good Spritz's and Spagliato to kick off! We had 2 x salads and a very good selection of Prosciutto. Chose a great bottle of Etna orange wine from the fridge, with a huge choice from shelves if you want to dig deep in what they have to offer? Forgive me for not remembering the names of the lovely couple who took care of us and made our last lunch of our trip so special I would rush back when next in Palermo. Ciao

Truly best sandwich I’ve ever had. We dropped off our bags at Hotel Wagner and stumbled over to A Putia, I ordered the Brontë panini and a Sicilian spritz. Can’t wait to come back tomorrow and the next day!

Worth the Walk for a Delicious Salumeria Experience This salumeria is a bit outside the old center, but we were so glad we made the walk. It’s much quieter, perfect for enjoying really good food on a small but charming terrace. The lady who served us was wonderfully friendly, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the “La Gran Degustazione” and wow, it was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches looked fantastic too, so we’ll have to try those next time. A true hidden gem that’s well worth the extra steps!

Perfection. We came here for a nosh and some afternoon wine and we were blown away by the mortedella panini with pesto and balsamic - absolutely fantastic! If we were here longer we'd order it again...and again. Wine was lovely, and service and ambiance was wonderful. Nice bottle shop as well - and not touristy - saw lots of locals eating here.

Wow, the panini’s here were incredibly fresh and whilst eating it you really feel like it was made with love. I had the Bronte and the Antico Vinaio and they did not disappoint! Definitely come by when you’re in Palermo. The owners were so sweet as well!
